Throwback Thursday.

Liz Taylor has to be one of the most stylish and elegant women to ever grace our screens during last century. She had a presence that captivated all types of audiences and a personality that made you love her instantly. She’s beautiful and ever so chic with her hourglass figure and her perfectly groom image. Some of her famous roles include Cleopatra which she starred beside Rex Harrison and Richard Burton, and Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, which is one of my all time favourite films. She is an icon that we will treasure forever.

The Vintage Figure.

The silhouettes of the 1940s, 1950s and even the early 1960s were perhaps the most feminine and beautiful of all. We saw cinched in waists and bigger chests, they were real hourglass figures. As women we come in all shapes and sizes and we should embrace who we are.

This image was taken from the 1962 Frederick’s of Hollywood spring catalogue, I love how it emphasises the feminine curves.

Cannes Red Carpet…

So this years Cannes Film Festival has kicked off with the premier of ‘Grace of Monaco’ with celebrities streaming across the red carpet. Blake lively stole the show with her burgundy Gucci Premiere dress which was absolutely stunning and I’m pretty sure Jane Fonda hasn’t aged in 20years.

Here’s some of my favourites…
