Catching up with LFW. Part 1

So London had a varied amount of different styles pouring out on the catwalk, lots of bold colours combined with neutral shades. There was lots of texture and inspiring silhouettes. Here are some of my favourites…

Temperley London.

I love the bold patterns and the monochrome pallet.

Margaret Howell.

Beautifully tailored garments with rich greys ready for the autumn.

Lela Rose

A beautiful array of retro silhouettes, bold prints and a monochrome pallet. There is definitely a theme of elegance and femininity running through this collection. I love the huge polka dots and the volume in the skirts.

Throwback Thursday.

When it comes to looking back through time, there are plenty of Hollywood starlets that paved the way for their future successors, but to me there will only be one true beauty  and she is Sophia Loren. She is the ultimate in Italian chic. A fashion Icon, model and movie star…

Throwback Thursday.

‘I have never ever been a blue calm sea. I have always been a storm…’

Can we please just take a minute to appreciate the extravagance that is Stevie Nicks. Her style is individualistic; she is who she is and never conformed to other peoples ideas of fashionable. She is the definition of bohemian chic, with great music to accompany her.

Weekly Inspiration.

It’s not long until ‘summer’ hits the shores of England and the socks and sandals come out; shirtless youths and pasty complexions as far as the eye can see. However, I prefer something a little more exotic. Give me fringing and Moroccan prints with a watermelon cocktail and I’m happy.
